Jenny Gonser

I've known Wes since we were kids in 5th grade. We grew up in the same part of Dallas and both attended Trinity Christian Academy, where my foundation was built on strong Christian faith and putting family first. After high school, I headed to Texas A&M University, where I met my husband, Bill, a proud member of the Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets. We married in 1994 and started our adventure together. Bill served as an infantry officer in the 101st Airborne at Fort Campbell while I worked in political fundraising for former TN Governor during his presidential bid. Next came a dozen wonderful years in Orange County, California, where Bill worked at Disneyland Resort. I dove into special events and fundraising, supporting a California state assemblyman, various nonprofits, and serving as Director of Women's Ministries & Special Events at Mariners Church. We loved exploring the U.S. and traveling the world in our downtime. After seven years of prayer and patience, 2006 brought the greatest role of my life: becoming mom to twins Will and Emily. Two years later came Graham, and three years after that, Tucker, going from zero to four kids in five years made for some beautifully chaotic early days! In 2009, we moved to Spring Branch, Texas, to be closer to family and embrace the Hill Country life. Since then, our family has poured our hearts into the Smithson Valley Lacrosse Association. Bill has coached youth lacrosse for over twelve years, and we've both served on the board for most of that time. I'm proudly a Lacrosse Mom, we're on the field several days a week cheering for our sons and their teammates, and we stay busy year-round with travel teams. Family is still #1. Bill's parents live minutes away and are a huge blessing to our kids. I often head to Arkansas to visit my daughter in college and my mom, who lives just minutes away. Dallas is still home to my brother and his family and my dad, and I love any chance to see them. Whether it's supporting Wes and the team at W.C. Miller Properties or chasing lacrosse balls across Texas (and beyond), I'm grateful for a life full of faith, family, and the people who make it all meaningful.
